Syeda Khatun

Hi! I’m Syeda, a remote first Product Designer based in Birmingham, UK.

Studying Advertising and Media at University was where my interest in the creative sector began. My course allowed me to understand the importance of reaching and connecting with the end user, using new media technologies.

My curiosity in UX product design initially sparked whilst working in an ad agency. Here, I worked with a new team to overhaul Land Rover’s web presence including the homepage and landing pages for 23 international markets.

Following on from this, I co-founded Brand Wave, an online mailorder startup. I gained exposure to each step of the the design thinking process for a new e-commerce web app. This allowed me to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing digital interfaces, whilst keeping the user’s needs at the core of my designs.

I’ve picked up quite a few skills throughout my career, which I’ve been able to apply to my own venture. Take a look at some of my experiences below.
